ERPC Announces Emergency Price Adjustment Across Solana Bare Metal Products Due to Rapid Hardware Cost Increases

ERPC, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) together with Validators DAO, announces an emergency price adjustment across its Solana-focused bare metal product lineup in response to rapid increases in hardware costs.
The new pricing will take effect on Monday, December 15, 2025. Until the end of this weekend, a limited quantity of inventory will remain available at the current special pricing. Existing subscriptions will not be affected by this change. We sincerely thank all users for their continued support of ERPC.
Background: High-Performance Solana Infrastructure Starts with Datacenter Selection
To deliver fast and stable Solana infrastructure, ERPC began by rigorously selecting datacenters. During this process, it became clear that not all datacenters are receptive to the demands of high-load, low-latency Solana workloads.
Solana’s resource requirements are extremely demanding. Even operating a single node requires large, datacenter-grade servers and high-performance CPUs. In addition, network requirements are stringent. To achieve true high-speed performance, CPUs must run at full turbo continuously and stably.
From a datacenter perspective, however, power-efficient operation is more profitable. As a result, allowing sustained full-turbo operation is uncommon. Guaranteeing such conditions for small deployment volumes is difficult, and in most cases, datacenters do not offer this capability at all.
The Importance of Hub Datacenters and Network Quality
For Solana’s high-speed communication, it is not sufficient to simply have adequate bandwidth. Large uplink capacity that remains stable during congestion, along with high-quality ISP connectivity, is essential. Networks function much like air traffic hubs: datacenters that serve as hubs have more routes and, as a result, more stable and predictable connectivity.
Selecting datacenters that continuously expand IX capacity and maintain high-quality ISP-level networking is therefore critical. ERPC has rigorously evaluated these conditions and partners exclusively with a very limited number of datacenter providers that meet strict technical and operational criteria.
Past Expansion and Ongoing Structural Changes
At the time ERPC began expanding its infrastructure, the importance of hub datacenters was not yet widely recognized across the market. This allowed us to invest early and expand capacity within these locations.
ERPC has consistently prioritized platform quality over short-term profit, operating bare metal resources with minimal margins. Concentrating resources within high-quality edge datacenters was a deliberate decision to strengthen the overall platform. As a result, ERPC has built a robust network foundation and a consistently high-quality Solana infrastructure.
As latency and performance are further optimized across the industry, demand naturally converges on the same limited set of premium datacenters. These facilities are physically scarce, and premium pricing is expected to become the norm going forward.
Rapid Hardware Cost Increases and Emergency Price Adjustment
With the recent surge in AI and blockchain demand, rising RAM prices have drawn attention. In reality, however, costs have increased sharply across nearly all hardware components, including CPUs, storage, and networking equipment.
ERPC will continue to prioritize expansion while maintaining a low-margin structure wherever possible. However, due to the rapid increase in procurement costs, we have determined that an emergency price adjustment is unavoidable. Our top priority remains performance and quality. We will not compromise on these principles, nor will we dilute platform integrity by selecting less rigorous datacenter partners.
