Why Frankfurt Is the Choice for Performance-Oriented Customers
Frankfurt hosts the largest number of Solana validators in the world, making it a global hub for the Solana network. The high density of validators means longer periods of physical proximity to the block-producing leader to peers, which directly translates to stable and fast environments. This is a key reason why Frankfurt is so popular among performance-oriented customers.
In addition, Frankfurt is geographically central within Europe and has long been home to large-scale data centers. With major financial exchanges and IX facilities, the region provides the conditions for minimizing physical network distance and reducing latency. For workloads like Solana where real-time performance is critical, there is no better location.
ShredStream offers ultra-high-speed UDP streaming, but long-distance transmission is more prone to packet loss and latency variations. Deploying resources within the same network as the data source is the most effective countermeasure. Features of the Premium Line
The dedicated ShredStream Metal Ryzen Premium is deployed on the same network as the ShredStream data source. By eliminating external paths from the reception route, it avoids endpoint congestion and long-distance routing fluctuations, fundamentally suppressing latency and jitter during stream reception. At €599 per month, this configuration has been highly rated for real-time processing, HFT, and block observation use cases, all built on a zero-distance data path.
The premium bare metal configurations for applications include the Ryzen 9950X Premium (16 cores, up to 5.7GHz, 128GB DDR5, €320/month) and SLV Metal App+ Premium (Ryzen 7950X, 16 cores, up to 5.7GHz, 128GB ECC DDR5, 1.92TB NVMe×2, 25Gbps×2, €240/month). Combined with Premium ShredStream, both operate in the same data center and on the same network, cutting total latency end-to-end from reception to processing to output.

The Frankfurt premium bare metal and dedicated ShredStream Metal Ryzen Premium are now sold out.
